Who Can Apply?

The programme is open to third-country nationals (non-EU, non-EEA, non-Swiss) who can demonstrate financial self-sufficiency. Qualifying dependants include a spouse or partner, children under 18, children aged 18 to 25 who are not economically active, and dependent relatives.

Property Requirement

Applicants must either purchase or rent a qualifying property in Malta:

Purchase

From EUR 220,000 (Gozo or South Malta)
or EUR 275,000 (other areas)

Rental

From EUR 8,750/year (Gozo or South Malta)
or EUR 9,600/year (other areas)
